Introducing William Is with the latest single “Antarctica” [NFT Remix]. William Is: the new incarnation of Chicago multimedia artist William Steffey. His music production career began at the age of 11 when he received a Tascam 244 multitrack cassette recorder as a gift from his father, a music industry sales rep. The musician delivers something that feels absolutely chillwave influenced we think. The vocals in the track feel a bit buried in the beat to give it a sort of dream like feeling we think, with the beat really almost being the focus to us almost and like the vocals were support. The artist is painting a landscape within the single that we think they successfully craft for you to be in while the sonics fall on your ears.
