I’m tired of people telling me “well, I like it, but I understand I’m not really a musician.” YES. You are. My take is this: If you listen… if you ‘get it’… then you’re more of a musician than some of the people I know that actually play instruments. It doesn’t matter if you don’t understand all the technical nuances. Why would it? Nobody understands everything anyhow. If you can feel a beat. If a song connects with you, then you’re a part of the music. You are a musician.
