I’m writing this at 11am on Tuesday, a full two hours after my email blasts traditionally come out in Central Time. Because I am in London, I still have some time to get it together! I got up at 7am today after being awake for about 30 hours straight during which time my wife and I took a bus and a train to O’Hare, where we then flew to Reykjavik, then took two buses before getting on another plane to Paris, where we took a tram and the RER train to Gare de Nord station. We then had a few hours to kill so we had some lunch and coffee. Next we took the Eurostar train up to London where we got on the tube, transferred, then ended up at a pub to meet my sis-in-law Martina, who is hosting our stay here in the U.K. We finally made it to bed at 11:30pm local time. Whew!!! We’re here til Friday at which point we’ll head back SE to Paris for another week. I will definitely be posting again, with things more interesting than the number of vehicles (11) it took us to get to where we were going in London. Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
