I feel that I’m reaching a certain plateau in that I’m releasing my tenth album early next year. I put out my first cassette back in 1989 when I was 18 years old… so figure I do about one album every two years or so.  It occurred to me yesterday that I’ve still got at least ten more albums in me if I continue at this rate. Maybe 15 or 20. It’s crazy to think about but it really makes the future seem exciting to me.

I’ve always been the type that doesn’t think about the future much. I’m the type of person that’s constantly amazed that I’ve survived this long. When I think about honing my craft, making better songs, using better technology, making better sounding recordings… well… like I said… exciting.
