Airport Hookers sessions: Alex and Josh

The music for Song01 (yes, it’s a working title) is finished thanks to team players Alex Leong and Josh Siegal.

Alex came by my studio on Wednesday night and put down his trombone parts…

… and Josh recorded his piano parts remotely from the comfort of his own home studio. He sent me four different stereo tracks of his isolated piano, and I edited them up and mixed them into the song. Here’s a bit of his video stream:

The music for this song is done. I’ve sent the mp3 to Jenny for her to write lyrics and prepare her vocal parts. Can’t wait to see what she comes up with! In the meantime, I’m hoping to start on Song02. Standby for more news very soon.
